We have put together a little information on just some of the popular manufacturers we use and which have been chosen by previous clients for their solutions.
Nuvo is definitely one of the more popular brands we use offering a good variety of cost effective multi room audio systems. Starting from the four zone four source Simplese system with basic but functional keypad control, up to the Grand Concerto system offering expandability to 16 individual music zones and more advanced control functionality, with either the full colour touch screen or the sleek text based Grand Concerto touch pad, which also happens to be waterproof. Nuvo also offers great control interfaces for devices such as your PC, iPhone and iPad.
Nuvo have recently released Renovia which is an excellent eight zone retrofit solution using your homes existing power lines for music distribution, avoiding any potential wireless pitfalls and keeping disruption to a minimum.
Nuvo have a great selection of digital audio sources including Music Port which utilizes the music content on your PC or network hard drive and the very popular iPod dock allowing simple docking of any iPod and distribution through your music system. We also often use Nuvo’s Accent Plus 2 speakers for multi room applications as we find they offer fantastic quality at a really competitive price.

Control 4 have been manufacturing home control, automation and multi room media products for a long while now and have always had a philosophy of offering feature rich solutions at an affordable price. Universal Remote Controls – URC
URC have always been one of the most respected manufacturers of control products. They offer a huge range of control interfaces from basic learning remotes which remove the clutter of your remote controls in the sitting room to much larger control systems proving reliable control of all your audio, video and lighting systems to name a few located throughout the property. Sonos are becoming more and more popular all the time, and why not they offer a fantastic multi room audio solution which is easy to configure, its scalable and because its wired or wireless offers a great solution for retrofit installations. They offer Zoneplayers which you connect either Sonos or any other speaker system to and there is also the S5 combined zoneplayer and speaker package making it easier than ever to get music around the house.
Sonos gives you easy access to your digital music collection stored throughout your home network and also a huge amount of online radio stations and music libraries from subscription services such as Spotify. You can control Sonos from a number of devices such as their own CR200 touch screen controller, iPhone or PC.

Systemline produce some really neat easy to install and cost effective multi room audio, video and control solutions. We particularly like their S6 system which provides a really striking interface with colour touch screen, a couple of neat keypad control options are also available. Some of the other products from Systemline are particularly suited to smaller or entry level installations which also suits multi dwelling property developers as these systems provide a cost effective extra which can set a property out from the crowd.

Philips Pronto have been in the home control market place a long time now and have always provided an excellent array of widely supported cost effective control products from the more basic TSU 9200 remote controls to really advanced wireless touch screens such as the larger TSU 9800 which works via WiFi. They have amassed great support from a good line up of the latest audio, video device and lighting control manufacturers offering some really neat two way control interfaces. There is also a TSU 9500 in wall touch screen coming soon which will fill any potential gap in their product line up.

Rako provides lighting control solutions that work particularly well in retrofit applications. Dimmer and switching modules are available for the vast majority of lighting types. The products are suited for either a single room or full house solutions and use stylish UK size keypads offering neat control, these are available in a number of finishes. These provide lighting scenes control and dimming functions for their respective rooms. The system supports ‘all on/off ‘ keypads at the front door or bedside for instance, which provides an easy way of turning lights
off in the home. Rako can control other things such as electric window treatments, water pumps, sprinklers etc. Add a
time clock and all these systems can be automated. An iPod interface has also been introduced.

Definitive Technology are an American manufacturer of high quality in ceiling, in wall and freestanding speakers for high end cinema and music applications. They offer amazing speakers such as the UIW range of in wall and in ceiling speakers, plus the exceptional Mythos range of floor standing and on wall speakers.

Anthony Gallo Speakers
Anthony Gallo produce speakers which are based on spheres. This is not the usual method approached by speaker manufacturers but no one can argue with the sound quality these speakers produce. They range from small discreet 4” – 5” spheres which are wall mounted with small brackets or alternatively can just sit on top of a sideboard; to the larger floor standing units which we think look very cool and do sit well in a modern room.

Screen Research Projection Screens
Screen Research are one of the leaders in projection screens and were the first to introduce acoustically transparent screens to the residential market allowing speakers to be installed behind the projection screen. This allows the speakers to be strategically placed allowing the movie sound track to come from the correct area of the screen – just like in the latest commercial cinemas. Another benefit of this is keeping the front speakers out of sight making for a more minimalistic streamlined room. Screen Research also manufacture a variety of fixed frame, curved and motorised screens to suit any application.
